Former Florida Congressman Allen West reached out to Citizen Media News for a remembrance of Congressman Josiah Walls.
“Sir, this picture is mounted in my office so that daily I can gaze upon these Men of courage. One of whom is Congressman Josiah T. Walls of Florida, my predecessor. It is because of men such as Rep. Walls, COL Charles Young, and my Dad, CPL Herman West Sr., that the road was paved and the doors were opened so that I could be Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) and former Member of Congress, Allen B. West. And I pray to have God’s blessings to inspire another,” stated Rep. West.
Allen was the first Black Republican elected to Congress from Florida; 143 years after Rep. Walls left the seat, back in 1877.
Citizen Media is proud to announce that it is giving full endorsement to LTC (Ret.) Allen West to be the next Texas GOP State Chairman
