Wednesday, George Kent testified for the US House Intelligence Committee at hearings about the impeachment of President Donald J. Trump, that while he didn’t know who Crowdstrike was, he knows they are owned by a Russian – American, not a Ukrainian- American.
Kent said, “To be honest, I had not heard of CrowdStrike until I read this transcript on Sept. 25.”
Kent, the deputy assistant secretary of state, gave confusing testimony that brings scrutiny to motives.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Democrats were playing with pro-Russian Ukrainians in the 2016 Presidential election, in favor of then-candidate Hillary R. Clinton.
Ukraine was a Russian satellite until the election of Presidnet Zelensky, with whom President Donald J. Trump spoke on the phone, offering his assistance in ending corruption in Ukraine.
Those phone conversations, unheard by impeachment witness, is being used as the grounds for “high crimes and misdemeanors” for impeachment.
CrowdStrike, the cybersecurity firm that determined the DNC had been hacked by Russia in 2016, claiming it is owned by a Ukrainian and hid a DNC server in Ukraine.
